Interesting new campfire product
I stumbled across this late last summer and fabricated a clone in my shop. It works well and as an added bonus you can rest a skillet in the prongs for cooking.
This summer my clone will be travelling with me for use all across the state of Michigan.
Mine is constructed of 3/4" rebar not the mere 1/2 or 5/8 square stock like the OEM. The ridges on the rebar help to stabilize the wood and hold it in place and it was FREE!!

Watching that video makes it seem like building and keeping a fire is a difficult and painstaking job. Building a fire is easy and when it begins to die down you throw a couple of logs on. I don't need to haul around yet one more camping do-dad that isn't necessary.

A cheap $14 electric start propane torch is my go to fire starter for wood or charcoal on the grill and it uses the same bottles as my griddle grill

The focus of the OP is the Incinergrate device...not how to light a fire. That dead horse has been so beat up that the buzzards aren't even interested in it. Fast forward to the 14 second mark of the video and notice the text below:
"I stumbled across this late last summer and fabricated a clone in my shop. It works well and as an added bonus you can rest a skillet in the prongs for cooking."
The device helps the fuel to stand up creating a more vigorous fire by allowing better air flow. Kind of like a supporting framework for the "teepee" method of fire building.

Understood the OP. Glad you were able to fabricate your own. Nice job.
My response was that building and maintaining a fire is not difficult, and I see no need for gimmicks to do it. I didn't buy eggies, the hot-dogger, or the veg-a-matic either, because they do things that I am perfectly capable of accomplishing without that "tool."

Interesting, putting a skillet on top could be handy and a lot smaller than a large fire grate.
When he lite the fire (1:01) , did you notice it took off like lighter fluid was used.

I just like camping toys that's all. I have 3 different styles of firepits in my back yard and am building a fourth this summer in the "chiminea" style out of a large steel tank. Yes, I use them all, just depends on what kind of fire I want at the time. I'll light between one and three depending on how many people are around.

This is alot like a Swedish or Canadian Candle. I've mad several but there is more work involved that what you get as an advantage. Good kindling is better in my opinion so I use Fatwood for starting all of mine.
