KOA on Undercover Boss

I saw a preview for "Undercover Boss" on CBS. Tonight they feature Jim Rogers, Chairman and CEO of Kampgrounds Of America. Looks like it'll be fun. Here's the preview:

We like that show.
Everyone should watch it and think, What if my boss is right there watching me?

Fun show to watch! We're camping right now and my "hotspot" is hit and miss for streaming video's. We DVR the show at home, so will definitely watch it when we get back home

I agree, sure was some nice looking KOA's, I have never seen any KOA's like those.

They should have filmed the show on the East Coast !!!

I watched it also and I agree with Rob. They sure picked the nice locations.

Overall I thought it was a pretty lame episode. He gave enough money to the manager that she left the company to start her own business. The only real problem he found was the maintenance guy wasn't very well organized and he used ammonia for everything.

I did like him helping the franchisee to further build their location however.

Overall, still a pretty thin episode.

Agreed! Yea, truely worlds apart from some of the ones we've seen in the past over here. Overall good episode but why must they wear such lame hair pieces on these shows?

Wolverine,
Nothing really special about them. There are good KOA campgrounds and bad KOA campgrounds just the same with any other campground. The only time I stay at them is for convenience while traveling due to the fact that they are generally located close to the thoroughfares that I travel. If there is a PPA park in the same general vicinity I stay there due to the 50% discounts. It is true that they are generally more expensive than other campgrounds but they generally have more amenities than an average campground as well as planned activities in season. You will see lots of KOA bashing on the Internet due to what many consider as being to expensive for what you get. I am retired and on a fixed income but I do not get all hung up on a one night fee. If it was that consequential in the grand scheme of costs associated with Rving then personally I can't afford to RV. YMMV though.

You can watch the entire episode online.

It was like an infomercial for KOA.
