By the way, the hub bearing and universal joint are bad so I didn't even try to get that rotor off of the hub.
Looks like the caliper was sticking, might need to replace it. Power stop makes nice sets

It could be. Also, these tend to stick on the slide pins here in the great rusty north. I'm going to get it back together and see if the caliper will work correctly cleaned up. If not, I'll replace it also.

I just did a right rear caliper last week. So, it wouldn't surprise me.

Where was stop #13? We camp in that area all the time.

I always use the caliper grease on the pins but sometimes I just replace the pins when they look bad. If you can get the stainless steel covers that go on the caliper slide surface they should work again without sticking

Thanks. Maybe Monday I'll have the parts that I am waiting on. I'll let you know how it works out.

When you replace it, make sure you can grease the new one. Those kind can also fail if the grease passages get plugged with mud/dirt.

All finished. New hub assemblies, U-Joints, rotors, calipers, pads, and brake lines both sides.

Thank you. Plan is to hit the front axle and corroded suspension components with a little Eastwood Rust Encapsulator and then spray it with Fluid Film before winter.

Such a small world. We frequent an area called Page Lake outside of New Milford PA. It's a little less than 25 miles from Dimmock.
