Maxx Air vent cover open or closed

I have the Maxx Air vent covers, should I leave the vents open during winter storage?

I always leave mine open to equalize temp and humidity. I also have a cover over mine.

Mine are open all the time unless A/C is on in the summer. Towing, stored, heat on (cracked but open). Moving air is your best friend to preventing mold and other potential problems IMHO.

With the constant warming up and cooling of the closed unit you will get condensation on the walls.

I leave mine cracked in the winter. No mildew problem so far.

The parents have kept theirs cracked open for the past 25+ years and have never had an issue.
