Movie Buffs

I know this is not about camping, but I need help. (Kitty tells me I need help often) mental help that is!

All movie buffs help me out. Years ago, I recall seeing a movie where a group of characters were trying to rob a bank. Each one in the group had a specialty. One was a safe cracker, one was a painter, etc. The painter painted a mural of the inside of the bank as it would look from the outside looking through the windows. They hung the mural from the ceiling, rolling it down just inside the windows, thus the group could work behind the mural undetected from people passing on the street. They were caught because the painter failed to include something in the mural. Does anyone but me recall the movie. If so, what is the name of the movie.

Nope.
I cant answer the original question, but the original "Italian Job" is one of my favourite movies, and it doesn't involve a bank robbery, or a painting...

I can't help you with that movie, but your post reminded me of my favorite bank robbery movie....

Charley Varrick, starring Walter Matthau and Joe Don Baker. 1973.

"The Last of the Independents!"
