My "Free Sale"

I started to purge some stuff out of the TT today that we have not used in a couple of years. I don’t have time to post this stuff on Craigs’s list and deal with buyers, so I just take the stuff out to the curb during my annual free sale. It was a complete success as all the stuff was gone in 2 hours. Here are the items:

1 Playmate cooler.
1 Gravity free chair – I never liked it.
2 plastic folding tables
5 hotdog skewers.
A string of awning lights shaped as lanterns
A bug zapper.
A disposable grill.
Some fishing tackle, including a pouch of “Red Wigglers, the Cadillac of worms!” Who can guess the famous 70’s TV show that featured Red Wigglers?

I see that you live in an area like ours. A few weeks ago, I replaced the water heater in one of our houses. I put it out by the road before dark and it was gone the next morning.

I having and going to free sales.

We have a neighbor behind us. Twice since we moved in he puts on a very formal free garage sale. Done in the driveway, neat organized, all on tables. Lots of stuff. All free. Never asked where he gets it all from.

It is a great idea to go through the RV once a year and purge unused items. I can't believe the things that we accumulate over time.

Wish, he would stop by, and grab a few hundred pounds of "stuff". Might even give up a few tools.

After being there for 41 years we sold our house in Mobile two years ago all our tools but ones needed on the motorhome were added to my son in laws and daughters what we call the “tool room”. With his stuff, he has a dirt race car, and mine we could open up a hardware store for used tools. Anyone need a hacksaw? Last count we have 5. We came off the road in December when our new townhouse in Huntsville was finished but I am letting him keep my tools in his shop. We are close enough to them now I can borrow from him.

Maybe that what I need to do! I have 3 pretty large outbuilding full of those things I think I needed or will need one of these days. I know there stuff in those I haven't seen in 30 years! On second thought can't do it I'll need that stuff before long. LOL
