My other RVs (*Large Image Alert*)

Though you all might get a kick seeing the "other" RVs I mess with - they are a little unusual.

This is our Scotty custom built education trailer. In the front we can do residential sprinkler demonstrations and actually burn things. It has an education area where we teach about tornado warnings - the blinds shake, strobes flash, and a huge subwoofer add to the effect. It also has a custom modified Atwood stove to teach about stove safety. We can smoke it up and have the kids crawl through and it even has a heater in the interior door to simulate touching a hot door. The water system has been modified to supply the burn room and hold the used water.

Here is the burn room in the front. It has two Fantastic fans up there to remove the smoke, as well as plexi on each side so folks can watch.

Part of the interior used for presentations. The bathroom is to my right, but it has been turned into a control room. From there you run the show, smoke, etc. It even has CCTV cams throughout so you can keep an eye on everyone in the dark or smoke.

Pretty neat trailer and the kids love it!

Here is my favorite vehicle. I am pretty proud of this since I helped design this - sort of a RV.

This is a custom build Mobile Command Center built on a Freightliner chassis. It is used at major incidents as well as communications. It has 10 fixed radios that can talk to or interconnect almost any agency. Multiple hand helds for marine, aircraft, you name it. Satellite phones, sat internet communications, and sat weather radar - everything we need to operate if all local infrastructure is down. It also has a 25 foot telescoping mast with antennas and a movable camera on top.

Here is the communications area up front. It has three work tables along with blackout curtains and a closing pocket door.

Here is the galley, the middle storage area and bathroom to my right, and the conference room in the back (or I can sleep back there). I can carry 60 gallons of diesel and have a 12KVA generator. I also have two 6 volt batteries for the accessories, two 6 volt batteries for the radios, and two 12 volt engine batteries. They charge from either the engine alternator or the two 60 amp redundant converters (powered off generator or shore power). It also has a 3KVA UPS for super clean power to the computers.

Oh - and dont forget the Incinolet toilet - no black tank to mess with!!

Anyway - that is it....hope you enjoyed....

Those educational fire safety trailers are great visuals! Although much shorter, we have a smaller two story model for kids to walk through.

Very nice!

Crabman, is that boat 18 to 20 ft long? I like the deep sides.

22.5 feet long, 8 ft wide, 5 yrs old. Very nice riding boat in rough conditions. They were designed initially for commercial use but are also used by recreational boaters. I also have a 20 ft Privateer workboat, 31 yrs old, I bought it brand new a month out of High School. Makes me feel old to know I`ve owned a boat for 31 yrs
