OK, I was hoping others would take a shot at this but I think you have us all stumped. How about either Gore, Byers, or Glenwood Canyon Colorado? If not those, I quit.

Just east of Glenwood Springs. There is a bike path that runs below the interstate next to the Colorado river. This is the route that the Amtrak takes. We are hoping to ride Amtrak from Denver west some day. Interstate or train, it is a beautiful trip

I figured that was an Amtrack with your last "hint". Fun....if I would take the time to learn how to attach photos, I have a few that I could stump the Forum with....hopefully someone else will post some locations now.
