New recall?

We just received a notice of what mail is being delivered today and there's a recall from Jayco. More to follow later today unless someone else knows what it might be.
I hope it's a screw up about the lights and they don't think I had them replaced already

It's certain models. Wiring from the battery to the 35amp converter. No overcurrent protection. A short circuit could cause a fire

The letterI saw also has those dates but it must be a typo. Obviously 2018 trailers were not made in July 2015.

My thought to. I'm checkin on mine just cause I can and my Vin was at top of letter

I’d like to know what their fix is. Sounds like an in-line or auto reset fuse. Anybody know what size. Just read the recall for my Inlaws and I’m not hauling it several hours for a simple fix.

They say it's a 30 minute fix. Parts for repair weren't available for dealers as of when letter was sent.

I received the same letter for my 2017 Jay Flight SLX 265RLS two days ago. Luckily my trailer was already at the dealer for some minor warranty work so they added the recall fix to the work order. Excessive current protection between the converter and battery with a fuse. I just hope they put the new inline fuse where it is easily accessible. When I pick up the trailer I’ll be asking to see the new circuit protection fuse.

I have a couple of guys I know at 2 dealers. I’ll see if they have the stuff and at least give me a picture or description, or better yet send it to me. I know it’s just a simple inline 30a fuse near the battery from what I interpreted off of the nhtsa recall sheet online.
