Oh the little joys.

Two little things that brought me joy these past two rainy days camping.
1. I had no idea that my camper was equipped with an auto-dunp awning. What made it better was the shock on my buddy's face as it dumped a nice deluge of water down his back.
2. I have mastered the art of keeping a camp fire going in pouring rain. I won a contest between 4 sites. I had the only fire still burning after the storm past. I don't know why because all I did was keep throwing a log in whenever it looked hopeless.

The first night of the very first outing in our new camper it was pouring. Being paranoid, I brought the awning in BUT the beer cooler was outside. Not wanting to get wet, I partially opened it stepped outside only to see the one side of it twist like it was in a hurricane. I thought for sure I trashed it. It wasn't until hours later I figured out it was an "Auto Dump" awning! I never even knew there was such a thing...
