Quiet day on the mouse front, hope things stay that way......., don't think I can take the stress of battle again to soon.

I got tired of those tricky little fur balls licking off the peanut butter on a trap that snapped on my finger 4 times before I could set it down. I started using fresh jujub's ( the soft sticky candy). Press it good and tight into the bait area and those little critters can't resist it, their little teeth get stuck enough in the candy that they set the trap off. Just my little trick.

I think you should have had that Houdini mouse stuffed as a trophy. He was probably a celebrity among his kinfolk.

Trophy mount, never thought of that

Got under the TT last while camping and put the "foam" to a couple of suspect openings, so we will see how things go while the TT is in winter storage (I check it every couple of weeks).
