What are some things other than camping you enjoy ? I own a Side by Side (Yamaha Rhino) that I enjoy in the fall and winter. We have miles and miles of offroad riding in Kentucky. I like to Turkey hunt when I get the time. Fishing is alway nice, and I like guns. Most important other than my family, and my faith, are my Kentucky Wildcats, (love my Wildcats)

Since I became disabled, I've come to enjoy TV a lot more, to the point where I started writing a blog (http://jakesdtvblog.com) about local TV back in August '08. That took off so well that the Evansville, Indiana newspaper (The Courier & Press) offered me a weekly column on the subject, which runs each Thursday. The pay isn't great, but it's a lot of fun.

I also enjoy working on computers, and, when I feel up to it, I like working on cars, too. I love to get my hands dirty!

But most importantly, I love spending time with my beautiful wife of 7 years and our four kids, who range in age from almost-a-teenager (she'll be 13 in January) down to 3. Three girls and a boy. They do keep us hopping!

This year, DH and I are staying home more and enjoy being stay-at-home grandparents to our little two year old grandson. Our new baby granddaughter is due the end of Dec. I will go back to teach my daughter's class for her while she is on maternity leave. When she returns to take her class back, Papa and I will watch the two littlest until June. Our two older granddaughters are school aged and look forward to taking off with us once summer hits!!! I can hardly wait to hit the road again!!!

I like to spend time on the computer also. Occasionally we take our kayaks out for a casual ride (usually at one of the city harbors along the coast). I think my real love is hitting the road though. I really like to travel
