Here we are at our favorite destination - Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, UT for a week of volunteering. First picture has the DW and I on the right and my youngest daughter and her boyfriend who come up from the Phoenix area on the left. Second pic is me walking a shelter dog. We do a lot of dog walking in the morning when it's cooler - probably put about 5-6 miles in each day. Third pic is me spending some quality time with the shelter cats. I'm a cat person having 7 of them back home. Last pic is Finney, one of the shelter dogs we took for a sleep over. His back story, as with so many of the shelter pets, is sad. But he was nothing but love.

Here's a pic from my last outing. I spent a week at Beaver's Bend SP in SE Oklahoma. I had a nice week, and a very nice campsite. More importantly, I had some very nice camping neighbors and made some new friends!
