I pulled a Coup d'état this weekend. We pulled into a CG for a week. It had no wifi and no cell service. The first afternoon a host came over and asked me If I had the wifi password. I said no and he gave me the pw. Then He said, "When do you go to work"? I said, I am just here for a week. He said, Don't give that pw out, it's only for work campers.

So I have no cell service, but real fast wifi.

Well he doesn't own a Jayco, but my 69 yr old father has finally started acting like a retired guy. He's only been retired for 14 years. But has had 3 jobs since. He and my mother are taking their Palomino 5th wheel to Fancy Gap, Va tomorrow for 2 months. Been trying to get him to take it out from under the shelter for 4 years. Always says he has to work. Last time I spoke to him I asked him what part of retirement didn't he understand. He did tell me tonight he has spent the last 10 days getting everything working again. He worked his whole life to be comfortable, served in the USAF, and at the same time was the pastor for our small community. He earned a good govt pension and raised us kids. This is his time. He owns a $50k fiver pulled by a brand New Ram 3500 that he never uses. I even volunteered to pull it out west for him then fly home, so he and Mom could ride their Goldwing out there. He's always wanted to go to Arizona. Well it ain't the west coast But at least it's 2 months on the other side of the state. Babay steps. About time he really retired. What gets me the most is he bought this rig to travel the country. His first winter with It was supposed to be spent in Arizona. Never went.

But if I know him, he'll find a job out there.
