T-30 minutes to pull out....and I can hear the pounding rain on the roof....Oh I just love towing and setting up in the rain.....

BUT - camping in the rain is better than a day at the office!!!!!

Wow. I am a wet rat after setting up today .. Also climbed the longest mountain ever today...20 mph for 1 mile in the rain and fog...that was an experience....

But alas we are here and even got a small camp fire....tomorrow it is supposed to dry out and be sunny. Cant wait to go on the increadable hikes here to the waterfalls!

I have been nearly grounded since I hit the oil filter of my new Polaris quad on a rock. The insurance agent called today and said the shop will be tearing down the engine and he will call me with the results as soon as he hears from them. I am hopeing the engine is a total loss as the quad is only two months old.

I can see where that would ruin an otherwise good day.

OK Clutch, we know you were getting wild and crazy with the ATV, and trying tricks and stunts and hit a rock. Us boys will be boys.

No wild and crazy on that ride. Just riding in the desert on an old mining road and a rock flipped up from a front tire. I don't think I could duplicate that in the next hundred years.

Wow, that was a freak thing. Maybe that oil filter should have been mounted in a different place or have a shielding around it.

Enjoying the 75 degree sunny Arkansas weather. Checked out the waterfalls yesterday and the cave drawings today. Water is just right for a little kayaking too. Come one come all!

Lee, the shop called today and said the engine is toast and they are recommending a complete long block. With luck I will be back riding in about 10 or 12 days.
