Road Atlanta - 2013 Petit le Mans

If anyone on here is going to be at Road Atlanta this week, stop by for a cup or whatever. We are at Turn 6, Site 13 and would love to put a face to the name.

I'm jealous. Was able to make Sebring and Road America this year but couldn't swing Petit. Enjoy the race!

Thanks guys. So far with one day of various practice done it is great. The camping areas are still lightly packed, but more will arrive today and by tomorrow it will be fully filled up based on previous years. We may get some rain today, but they don't stop racing here if it rains, they just change tires and turn on the wipers. And they do make RIGHT TURNS.

Great week.

Watching the race on TV if that will help . Wish I was really there. Been to Limerock and it's a blast - camped nearby at a local campground and attend during the day to the race. We like the full hookup of the campground, but definitely jealous of the onsite campers for sure at the race. Enjoy!!

Well all of the fun is over. It is 6:15am right now and the race was over last night. They completed the 1,000 miles in just under the 10 hour race limit and it was a great day of racing.

Now first thing this morning it is hook up and had home to central Alabama. I just have to make sure we leave here in time to be on I-20 at Talladega after their race starts. I don't want to be anywhere near Talladega when that sucker lets out. I will just honk as we pass.
