Road conditions I-10 florida

Any advice ? Will be in Florida in October and I've always heard stay off I-10 in Florida.Any advice?

There's nothing wrong with I-10 through Florida … there may be places where there is construction … you can Google Map you're route to find those.

Use crowd sourced map giant Waze to navigate your way, if there is a pothole big enough, it will be noted on the app.

I 10 east of Houston to Baton Rouge is supposed to be rough, busy and full of construction. We went around it via 90 and 190 Both where in quite nice shape. Took I12 around New Orleans and I10 up to Tallahassee Florida. I 10 had lots of cleanup going on from the hurricane last fall. Our trip thru was in late February 2019. Of all the roads we took from Port Huron Michigan to Edna Texas to Sebring Florida to home I10 in Florida was one of the better surface.
