Looks like he was launching the boat with a front hitch.
It was shared on Face Book with this caption:

This is what happens when you hit the gas when you meant to go for the brakes. Those pedals are so close in the C's, I can attest to that. BTW no one was injured in the incident other than pride.

Sitting by the boat ramp and watching folks launch/haul can be a lot of fun. Some of the things you see, and the stupidity of people, are unbelievable.

or he knew what he was doing....Most people are so upside down in financing with motorhomes.

My cousin-in-law/camping buddy & I have threatened to get a couple of blue vests and just stand around at the boat ramp asking "How can I help you?" ....

I agree, especially watching people try and back down the ramp! Another favorite is when they almost totally submerge a drive on trailer and try to get the boat centered.
