RV Insurance

I’m looking at updating insurance since I have a new unit on order. Who do you have for Rv Insurance? Do they offer Gap coverage? Do they offer towing? How much do you have your personal property insurance? How much is your cost per year?

I Have been told sometime in June for the 2018 model. They said once it's on the schedule I'll get a date. The last two Jayco's that I ordered were within 10 day's of that date.

We have USAA for pretty much all of our insurance. They won't insure my motorcycles though and have an agent for Progressive in shop that they will transfer you over to. They do the same thing with RVs. I did a little shopping though and ended up going with Goodsam.

They do offer roadside assistance but we skipped it this first year. We have it through Jayco initially as well as the fact we are doing only local trips. If something happened to the TV we have access to another TV to get the camper.

We will likely shop for additional coverage for roadside assistance next year as we are planning a longer trip out west. Maybe Yellowstone or something. Nothing set yet.

When I owned a Ford F350 I took the best ext. Warranty from ford motor company and it covered
towing of the ford but also the Trailer if connected. I know I had both towed 75 miles with no towing bill. I current have a Chevy, they don't offer that coverage.

I have a Progressive policy through Good Sam.
5 year replacement then purchase price on TT for total loss with $500.00 deductible
$100,000.00 Vacation Liability and $3000.00 personal effects.

Good policy and good price.
Better than what I could get through our vehicle/homeowner insurance company
