RV SELLER NETWORK, are they a scam?

A good friend has recently divorced and now she needs to sell her 2014 Starcraft trailer, she posted it on Craig’s list, and has now been contacted by “RV SELLER NETWORK”, they are asking an upfront fee of ~$250 to post it on their network of “top” advertisers. Also they are telling her that she has listed it too low and they will advertise it for roughly $2,000 dollars more than her listing.

Has anyone had any experience or stories about this company?

When someone offers to help you sell something for a fee when you have it on a free site... it’s most likely a scam. I’ve encountered the same responses when listing vehicles on Craigslist...

yep... make $250 for re-listing the ad on CL. Hard to legitimately say it is a scam, but it still is.
