Single Dads

Unfortunately I am going through a divorce. How many single dads on here continued to camp after your divorce?

I hate to say this, but I'd live in the RV and give the DW (or ex) the house...so yes I'd keep camping.

The dad of one of the girls on my daughter's travel softball team did exactly this. He put his in a permanent campground and is loving every minute of it. She took the mortgage, he took the trailer, and so far it seems to be working out for the best.

My parents are divorced my dad bought a small trailer just for himself and goes whenever he wants. Seems to work out pretty good for him

Not a single dad, but I have taken my 7 year old camping a couple times just the two of us. Had a great time still. There was a single dad and his son camping across from us the one time. I wouldn't give it up if you enjoy it and your kids do as well. Might be good to have something like this that you can do with your kids.

Yep, separated last year, my son and I continue to camp, my older daughter, her husband and my granddaughter joined us on a trip too, I’m divorced now and my camp trailer sits in my driveway, just waiting for the season to start again. The other day my son asked if we can go camping every weekend that he is with me this year!
