Something JAYCO needs to do

Keystone RV opens secondary PDI building in Goshen

GOSHEN, Ind. — In recent weeks, Keystone RV opened the doors on a new secondary pre-delivery inspection facility at their Goshen campus.

The 23,060-square-foot building has significantly increased unit capacity, adding 16 pre-delivery inspection (PDI) bays and more than doubling quality inspection personnel, said Jeri Edwards, quality assurance manager

“The new building not only provides more physical space, but increases program flexibility. As a company we are constantly growing and improving our processes, the new secondary PDI was a natural next step in that continued improvement,” Edwards explained.

The secondary PDI building will function as an additional check-point after the extensive in-plant quality inspection process.

“We want our customers to enjoy their RV so we perform secondary inspections to ensure they are getting the best quality product,” Edwards said. “The safety of our customers is extremely important, and this new building will help us to further ensure every little aspect our products are built to protocol and in working order.”

President Jeff Runels said, “The new building is a natural step in the continued growth of our company. We are constantly searching for steps we can take to build on our efficiency and keep powering forward.”

They need to start by building a better product. I wont touch Keystone after having the wall fall off my trailer going down I-15. When we inspected it the wall was held to the floor with common sheet metal screws.
