Stay away from the fische!

So I would recommend that everyone steer clear of me, I am cursed! We had another big storm this week...so we discovered a tree fell on our cabin. Luckly we were able to get a crane out today and get it off the house. In addition I was able to get the gutter repaied on the Jayco from the last storm....bad news is I missed with the hammer and put two small dents in the siding...now I know you are laughing at me at this point....but really....this has to stop!!!!! Good news is the camper is parked back in it's normal spot...lol....

Again...if you see me -- run! I am bad luck!

Sorry to hear about the cabin, hope there wasn't too much damage. I'm staying away from TN for a while.

Nope...that would have been too easy! I did have him look at that tree along with a few others and give me a price on dropping them. He couldn't do it yesterday because he had several more houses to go get trees off of.

Got in the attic last night and it does not look too bad. A couple of rafters are slightly canted, but I think they are fine. Looks like I need 2 new rafters, two sheets of decking, new soffet, and probably most if not all of the shingles replaced. But hey - that is what insurance is for......

Hopefully we are back to normal for the summer! Anyone want to meet up and camp? I could really use a redhead....don't you rub their hair for good luck

It appears that the Crab jinx I put on you is taking full effect. I didn`t realize it would be so strong over the internet as opposed to in person. It will cause a hammer to miss the mark as well as bring trees down on barns and cabins. Seriously I`m glad to hear your damage was minimal.

Terry, so glad everyone is okay. There have been too many bad storms this year! It's hard to watch the devastation so many have experienced. Here's hoping your bad luck has come to an end....be safe!!

The tree that destroyed our small shop was about that diameter but it blew out about 30ft up and busted the shop to pieces.

The good thing about living in West Texas is that we have no trees tall enough to fall during a storm and cause damage to anything.
