Things that go bump in the night..
Well, not so much "bump" as "crash"
We are in Myakka River SP, in Florida, and a huge chunk of tree... fully half a mature tree... has just fallen on our neighbours' site... missed the trailer, but made a serious mess of their nice truck.
It's 11 PM and the campground is ringing with the sound of chsinsaws, as the Rangers cut them free.
Luckily, nobody was hurt, but it's a real mess. I understand that they'll move them to another site, since the rest of the tree doesn't look too stable.
Certainly ruined somebody's weekend!
