a C 5 wheel? or a 5th Class C wheel?
Makes me think about the guy who purchased my old 5er. He cut off the hitch completely, welded extensions onto the frame and created a cargo platform up front under the overhead and then extended the hitch forward and utilized a pintle hitch setup. Which he tows with his refurbished military duece and half. I had put a lift on my 5er allowing for 16 inch truck tires and skid plates protecting the black and grey tanks and plumbing.
I wish I had a picture of the set up once it was completed.

This photo answers the question of "What should I do with my Class C when the motor and transmission are shot and the front end is no good, but the living quarters are still in great shape?"

C Wheel, first of its kind!!! Lol
That owner solved more questions in one mod than any of us have. For all the "where to put the bikes and/or generator" questions, look at all the space available near the pin.
Swardy,
I remember seeing a pic like that a few years back. That owner had mounted the trailer facing forward so the door was still curbside. And there was like 6-8 steps to get in the rig.

No photos, but I did see someone take a truck camper and put it on a gooseneck trailer, turning it into a very small 5th wheel trailer.

LOL. I sent it to friends who have an Airstream with twin beds. I told her this is the next step! In-law suite good idea. Now for kids - great idea but a tent is cheaper. Me I am happy with my Jayco and a queen bed. 😎

A couple weeks a go I saw, no time to pull the phone out for a photo. A semi tractor, was pulling a 13 foot scamp. I think he might have had enough truck!
