Travel Trailer Sway and Jack-knife

Travel trailer sways and jack knifes! Man, I feel for these folks. What a way to ruin a great trip

Truely sad to see... But do you know how to get out of that problem? Like I was taugh by a friend that tows big boats for a living. Don't touch your service brake but lay into your trailer brake and the sway will stop.

At least now if it starts you know how to stop it...

Good advice... Thanks. I hope tt owners read this one.

When Don and I started pulling the larger tt, we played a game.... out of the blue, the passenger would say to the driver "SWAY" and the driver immediately reached for the brake controller. It's pretty much automatic response for us now, although we rarely feel sway

I wonder what kind of sway control he had, if any.
