Voting day
It seems to me that this year there has been a LOT more emphasis to people to get out and vote than in the past.
So, how was the turnout where you vote and how long did you have to wait?

Me, there was a lot of people in line, more than I've seen in the past and the lines moved pretty quick.
If I spent 30 min total, it was just barely 30 min.

We voted absentee because we were going to be out of the state. We did hand deliver our completed ballot to the clerk of the court before we left. We talked to our neighbors back home and they were amazed at the numbers that showed up to vote but said the lines went pretty quickly.

I was in and out in 10 minutes but I live in a rural community.

We voted early, in person absentee but a number of friends and family waited until today and reported it went pretty fast.

I was first in line, but at least 50 showed up by 6:30 am. I got there at 6am, and waited a 1/2 hour before doors opened. Had to be at work by 7 am, and made it with a few minutes to spare.

There was quite a crowd waiting at 6 am. The lines shortened up as the day progressed.

It took more time to find a parking place than to submit our ballots on Monday.
Later than afternoon, emails were received acknowledging receipt of our ballots.

We voted around 8:30 am. Only 2 folks in line before us. At 6:45 pm, I went with our daughter for her first time voting (turned 19 in June). There was 1 guy in front of her.
Early voting was big this year here. There were long lines then, but it seems election day was not as busy.

We did absentee voting and I dropped in the the box at the polling place last week. I drove by city hall where we vote on Monday evening and the line for early voting was around the block. Must have been 1000 feet long. That said, people were keeping their 6 foot distance. I didn't venture out yesterday to see the lines then.

We voted about a month ago by mail. The line was very short.
