Gave her her first bath of the season. Discovered that the streaks on the front cap didn't wash off with the soap solution I was using, so will have to try something a little stronger.

Pulled it home yesterday, finally, after 2 months of warranty work at CW (Jayco backorders). Today will stock it, clean her up and get ready for 1st trip in a few weeks. Antsy as hell to get back on the road again.
Happy RVing,
Jeff

I towed mine back to storage today. I've only had it for 2 weeks and this weekend was my second outing with it. I have put only 100 miles on the trailer so far but feeling much more confident driving it.

Next weekend I take her to Arkansas

Raised the stabilizer jacks, unhooked the cables and hoses, rolled the awning back in, turned the gas off. Coupled it to the truck and came home from the campground.

Just washed the 24fbs....just got it home from having the whole driver side wall replaced. It was stolen and damaged to the extent that a hole pierced the wall right into the inside (about a foot long). Thankfully it was insured...$15000 later it looks like new.

Another production flaw! Left first axel brake wire was never put in the crimper and was just hanging loose well covered by the rubber cap. When adjusting the brakes I also was checking for power at each brake. So much for quality control..............what quality?? Live goes on and are still happy camping. Someday the unit will be custom finished and I am ready for another Jayco to do things all over again.

Also made a clamp from 1 " square aluminum to hold the battery covers (and 2 batt.boxes) down instead of the flimsy straps. When the straps get wet they loosen up enough to blow the cover off during travel.

New Pinnacle 36RSQS

We recently purchased a Pinnacle 36RSQS - will be going full-timing soon! (But will still be working for my current employer under "contract" for a few more years yet)

While not all done today, we have:
- Installed a Progressive Dynamics EMS-HW50C energy management system
- Installed a stackable Splendide clothes washer and vented dryer
- Upgraded the Fantastic Vent fan in the bathroom to model 7350, with remote and automatically opening dome (wife could not reach dome knob)
- Added additional insulation to the basement walls
- Changed the thermostats on the water heater from 130* to 140* thermostats
- Straightened up and bundled all wiring and water lines in the basement with zip-ties
- Labled all devices and wiring in the battery compartment
- Flushed and sanitized the water system
- Installed TST TPMS sensors on all the tires (transferred from trailer traded in)
- Installed Voyager WVOS713 backup/rear-view camera system (also transferred from trailer traded in)
- Setup iPod as additional video source to television
- Installed "Tornado" hooks (from Lowes) in basement for hoses, cables and chairs
- Made and installed the 5" fence-post storage tube for the stinky-slinky (may add another one)
- Bought a pair of Bal X-Chocks
- Installed an indoor/outdoor thermometer
- Tested and retested all onboard systems (no problems found - yet)
Planning to:
- Install vent covers (2)
- Install water softening system (water in our part of Ohio is HARD)
- Add additional shelves in kitchen cabinets
- Purchase and install a DISH satellite system

Whee! When will it all end

Rick

Just got the water system sanitized and washed out. Ready to go. My family and I are pulling it into our season spot on Saturday. Hurrah for season openings!

Removed the original crappy 12v battery and box and installed a new double box with two 6v golf cart batteries.

I replaced my bath sink faucet late last year Dan. I too like being able to get my hands under the spout to wash up. Also, mine wouldn't shut off right. I replaced the tulip in it once which lasted about a year and didn't want to spend anymore time with it. The new one is great.

Actually, they came from Camping World.

No difficulty at all.

(Except I thought I double posted when I saw your post, Brian and deleted the original. D-oh!)

I could not believe how much oxidation or what ever was on the front of our White Hawk. I got out the ribbing compound and went to work on it. I was 1/2 though before I remembered to take a photo. It cleaned up nice.
