Turned the furnace on to keep the pipes from freezing up. Supposed to be at or below freezing here the next couple nights. Should have stayed in Florida

My wax guy called me yesterday afternoon to tell me I owned him some $$$ when I return to my Designer on Sunday. He waxed it yesterday - I like it. I'm baby sitting this week with my son in law while my daughter is on a little mother daughter vacation.

Bought a surge suppressor with voltage regulator and trip with automatic reset. After having electrical issues last time out that I still haven't fully explained and reading a magazine article yesterday with some gnarly pictures of burned up units, I decided it was cheap insurance just in case.

Built a shelf system that surrounds the vanity mirror sink area, adding 7 shelves with lips to hold any toiletries (3 each side and 1 below mirror, open at top for better lighting). This was because our 264BHW didn't have a medicine cabinet. Wife is very pleased, and adds some real wood to area and matched stain of surrounding walls.
Next will be a narrow ottoman so I can put my feet up while watching the television (only watch when weather bad, prefer camp fires and we cook outside-old habit that works very well for us)

Was too excited to dewinterize a couple weeks ago. 16 days until our maiden voyage c'mon Michigan weather time to cooperate!!

Installed a new Crown group 24 deep cycle battery. Have heard this is a fairly good brand. Eventually going the two six volt route but for the time being went with the single 12 volt due to the available area. '01 Kiwi 17a.

Removed vinyl floor
Removed vinyl in kitchen area in preparation to replace floor surface - soft spots in front of refrigerator and sink
Anyone tried using Pergo snap and lock hardwood?
Thanks,

Replaced string in another day/night blind.
Checked the sealant around the new skylight I installed a few weeks ago. Looked good.
Pulled weeds from my RV park gravel "front yard".

It wasn't just today, but over the last month, I have built my own and added sink covers/cutting boards for the kitchen sink, shelves to the kitchen cabinets, and changed the bathroom faucet to a higher spout with a better reach over the sink. Pictures posted in my profile.

After a 2 week rest the Greyhawk is getting prepped again for summer duty. Cleaning and restocking the fridge and freezer, turning power back on. Tomorrow getting the clean bedding back in and Sunday filling the water and checking tires to move to the Walmart till the RV Park opens in May.
Starting work this Monday.

After a bit of modification to the opening, I mounted a new stereo in our Jay Flight. The original had been removed and a plastic "filler" installed to cover the area. After hooking up the new unit NOTHING !!! Upon further inspection there was no current going to the unit. Originally scotchlock type connectors had been used by whomever installed the previous radio. After cutting out all these connectors and replacing with butt connectors all is fine. If given a choice I would recommend NEVER using the scotchlock type. I have only seen poor results over the years with these. IMHO nothing beats a good solder connection but the butt type seem to work well. YOMV

Started waxing her. Thanks to Tunce fore the suggestion of using a cleaner wax - works like a charm to take the black streaks off and add a coat of wax at the same time. It's certainly saving me a lot of time and energy
