Took the 32bhds in for some warrenty work...got a new tounge jack and had them look at the led lights over the sink that went out on our first long camping trip. Turns out the led bulbs went out had to order new ones from jayco. The new tounge jack works great. The old one was binding up when lowering the tounge onto the truck. Brought it home and gave it a good wash down and parked it and opened it up to dry out.

We put up [home made] curtains over the window in the door; earlier we replaced the came-with-it window with a piece of tinted plexi so we can actually see out of it, light still comes through, and people still can't see in. Also put up [home made] black-out curtains, which are pictured in the rolled up mode.
We tried attaching the black-out curtains with just Velcro, but even the industrial-strength stuff kept popping up, so DH used little screws, which are hidden by the ribbon tabs. At the bottom, there are elastic loops that slide over the ... bobbins? that hold the wires for the blinds.
We haven't tried them yet, but will leaving Monday for a week, and will test them then. Still need to cut a piece of foam board to use in the skylight ....

You guys must like to sleep in in the mornings! None of that happening here....[emoji42]
For some reason when camping kids like to get up at sunrise! Especially when with the scouts.

When we go to Highland Games, we "camp" in RV parks, and they have lights on all night. We'll test the curtains next week when we dry camp, but they're really for KOA trips. :-)

Pulled it back to Dash Point SP, parked it, worked a couple hours splitting wood, then finished getting the TT set up. Just like home again, with some chicken cookin' in the pot.

Pulled the trailer out of our storage lot, then hosed off the roof and washed the entire rig. It was very dusty! Next came a coat of wax on all but the front of it, due to being in direct sunlight by then. Tomorrow morning I'll run over to the lot and finish what I started.

Washed 5W and waxed the cap for a planed 10-12 week trip. I ran out of buffing pads, guess I finish tomorrow. I bought a 6" orbital buffer HF and it works great. Now wax on wax offs way easier.

Cleaned the floors!!!!!!
Gas/oil mix leaked in the storage area on the ride out. A cabinet latch failed and can of Grillin' Beans landed on something hard. Sweetened tomato sauce from the bedroom to the kitchen!
Lots of floor cleaner. Several clean and rinse cycles inside the cabin and inside the storage area.
I now have clear knowledge of what is in the storage compartment.

Performed the analog to digital thermostat upgrade. Very easy, about 15 minutes, just swap wire color for wire color. Only difference is the original thermostat was not quite as wide and now the new thermostat overlaps the door trim molding slightly. May take a utility knife and trim the molding or I might just leave it the way it is. you don't notice it unless your looking straight down from the top of the thermostat.

Gave it a good washing and cleaned the awning. Also scrubbed out the inside of the rear bumper with naval jelly and a stiff wire brush then applied a couple of coats of Rust-oleum to better protect it when I've got the sewer hoses stored in it.

Last Friday morning (early) I washed the GH 31, then started with the waxing, and waxed and waxed and waxed all day long. Got up Saturday (early) and did it again all day long.
Got up early today (5:30am) and finished the monster by 7am today. Then I washed the cab meta and wheelsl due to all the wax splatter & dust from using an electric polisher.
I'm tired but it does look good now. LOL

Brought him home for the weekend for a flurry of mods. First up was mounting the 5" fence post cover under the frame and figuring out how to secure the removable cap. Next cut down my new Andersen Levellers to fit between the wheels.
Installed shelves into the overhead cabinets.
Cleaned the rims with Mother's Aluminum Rim Cleaner.
Got about halfway through building a new wood shelf to fit the RVQ bracket which I am converting to hold my Gladiator stove. Blank is glued up and trued up, needs final sanding, finishing (just mineral oil), and drilling of holes to fit the bracket.
New broom and broom holder installed.
Purchased a 10' length of clear vinyl hose to extend out the downspout and keep the stream of water away from the cargo door. Was very uncomfortable packing up in a downpour a couple of weeks ago.
Expanded our collection of travel bumper stickers on the back deck.
Really need to start taking some photos of all the mods we have done this past month!

Discovered my curb side propane tank wasn't feeding the regulator so I investigated a bit further today. I swapped the 12" hoses that feed the bottles to the switching regulator and found one of the hoses is plugged or has a bad check valve.
