I found a trail of water on the floor coming from one side of the doorway threshold after some heavy rain a couple of days ago. I assumed the door seal may be the problem but couldn't find any sign of intrusion there. The trail of water was back this morning after some heavier rain overnight so after an expanded search I think I located the source - it appears to be a small void that has opened up in the caulk line that runs along the edge of the roof on the top of the rain gutter. This is several inches forward of the door and I can see how the water could run down between the aluminum siding and the plywood wall and then come out by the corner of the threshold. I plugged it with some DAP 3.0 for now. Given the weather this week it shouldn't take long to confirm this is the problem. This caulk line seems to be thin and uneven in a few places so I'm thinking that I will just redo both sides with another bead that is more uniform once we get a nicer stretch of weather.

Since things dried out nicely around here today I ran a fresh bead of Dicor No-Sag front to back on the top of the rain gutters on both sides. This was to finish up the temp seal I did a couple of days ago (see 2 posts previous for that...) after finding a puddle of water just inside the door. I also removed the propane regulator from the front of the trailer and re-sealed around it. In doing so I found that the top screw was the only one with any grip - the bottom screw just pulled right out. It obviously didn't line up with any thing behind the diamond plate. I replaced that one with a slightly larger sheet metal screw which gave it some grip.

I spent the afternoon installing MORryde C3000and C3300 wet bolt suspension upgrade on our 2016 212 QWB. Looking at replacing the OE tires with Goodyear Endurance tires.

Recently upgraded the refrig with Fridge-Fix. Improved air circulation and reduced propane use. Now the unit really stays colder at a lower energy setting.

More to come.

Since Thursday: cleaned the roof; washed the entire exterior; cleaned the awning which was encrusted with baked on May flies (Lots of Fun!); put down a 6" run of Eternabond over the cap roof seal; fixed the the roof end corner seals with Quad black as Jayco prescribed; treated the entire exterior with 303 Aerospace; added lap seal to a few roof seals.

For the record, we used Dicor roof cleaner. It did not do a very good job. I get the same results or better with Murphy Oil Soap. I will not use the Dicor again, expensive ineffective product. It also left graying all over the walls - no warning or instruction on label for this. Fortunately, it washed off, and we the 303 restored the finish.

Nice tom.
I'll be doing mine soon. I wanted to do it today but we woke up with snow on the ground.

Checked the caulking on the walls, and touched up a few places. Later today need to order eternabond for the roof

The dirt/mold had once again obscured the decals so yesterday I decided it was about time for another bath (performed once every 18 months or so). It required a sponge type scratch pad, concentrated simply green cleaner and 6-7 hours of elbow grease.

It's all part of my low maintenance appearance package.

I found the same problems with Murphy's oil soap and spic and span. I ended up using my power washer.

Being the first of the month again, I switched my Norcold to propane, water heater to propane for a laundry load, and am currently sitting here drinking a cup of coffee that was perked after I fired up the Onan for it's monthly 1 hour run under load. I have a 1500 watt space heater running for part of the load.

All is working normally so far. Ending hours on the Onan at the end of this run will be 390.4.

I washed the roof on our 5 month old 330RSTS yesterday for the first time before heading back north. MAN, that's a big roof to scrub by hand!!!!

Anyway, between the sponge, bristle brush, and a lot of elbow grease, the Murphy's didn't do a bad job but there is some stubborn dirt still there. When I took the hose stream and got it fairly close to the roof, it did clean the rest of it, but not going to do that entire roof with a garden hose sprayer! Like others have stated, this is a job that requires MORE POWER!!! Pressure washer on my shopping list!!!
