Added 12v cigarette lighter outlet to my basement on my 31fk to plug in 12v cooler... To keep extra drinks cold while traveling. No longer need ice, unless I need to make frozen adult drinks! :-) at the site!!!

1) washed it
2) added valve stem extenders and checked tire pressure
3) gassed it up

My favorite time of the year........Got it out of storage - aired up all 5 tires - flushed the pink stuff out of the lines - replaced the carbon monoxide alarm - pumped the water lines full of bleach/water for an overnight soak - replaced batteries in the remotes - cleaned refrigerator & hot water heater (outside mechanical areas) - installed new 5th wheel lube plate - finally took time to learn how to scan channels in the little used television - assessed broken bat wing antenna and decided I can get by with it for a while longer before replacing it (since we don't use it much anyway and our campsite is too far from any signal) - installed a filled lp bottle and purged lines - test started cooktop & refrigerator - 1/2 done, more to do tomorrow.

My dealer's service manager is at my home base site right now with a helper doing my twice/year roof maintenance and complete wash.

They will then replace two refrigerator fans under extended warranty. A major advantage to buying locally, the copay is only $75.00 vs $100.00 if a non selling dealer does the work. Total cost of the fan replacement $472.52. $75.00 to me.

As I have said before, I don't know if I would have bought the extended warranty if I had to pay for it, but it doesn't take many repairs of this type to make the extended warranty look like a good deal. It is a crap shoot however.

Beautiful warm and sunny day on Hatteras Island in the OBX. Lazy and relaxed. Just (late I know) sanitized the 5er for the first time. 4 hour wait, then flush.

Washed it, put on my JOF decal, flushed out the bleach/water, lubricated the scissor jack stablizers, rearranged the basement tools, etc. pre packed for camping trip in 2 weeks, hauled it back to storage.

I am at the tire dealer right now getting two G614's mounted . The left side two will be done later today..

It was above freezing in Michigan for 2 straight days, so I brought it home from storage, opened the doors and windows to air it out, drained the antifreeze out of it, bleached the water lines (took me 2 days to make sure it's sterilized!!), removed the useless "divider" which is accessible from the outside storage and located underneath the couch to make my storage space more than double, stowed all of our new supplies/gadgets/utensils and charged the battery on a trickle charger. I will give her a bath, inside and out, and probably top-off the propane tanks, tomorrow. Camping reservations are right around the corner in June!! I also took some lumber I had lying around the garage and made some more leveling blocks. Happy Camping!!

I washed her (hubby scrubbed the roof), then he plugged in the battery - a quick google gave us the wrong answer on the first question, and we promptly blew a fuse. So no power yet. Also opened my box of brand new pop up gizmos to discover that they are two different sizes. So I have to contact them and go through sending back/reordering. Hopefully I can get them before our first trip out in 2 weeks.

**I also took a cat nap on the couch. I love sleeping in that thing!

Whew! Long day, but I now have 4 brand new G614's on my Designer. The original Marathons were 4 years old and I just never did trust them anyway, so........they are going to my son-in-law for his utility trailer. He is happy and so am I.

Finally picked up my 154BH this past weekend from the dealer after waiting 2 1/2 months from purchase. Stayed at Camp Driveway last night. Awesome sleep. Love the TT. Had First double digit temps on the weekend. Planning to add accessories this week for a summer of fun.

Slept in my 154BH on Camp Driveway last night to test small ceramic heater. It kept the trailer very warm and cosy. Will be a good alternative to using up propane. Surprised to wake up to freezing temperature and snow.

Good on the heater!
We mostly use that to take the chill out instead of the furnace.
I got a good tip on this forum about using space heater which I put to use today
Plug it into the microwave outlet, less chance to pop a braker
