The new Zinus memory foam mattress came Friday, and the instructions said to unwrap it within 72 hours. Not sure why, but now it's in the TT. We sure hope it's better than the original!

I towed it home from our trip to the coast over the weekend. Started emptying stuff, but got tired and had to relax a bit. EVERYTHING needs to be washed. The wind was HORRIBLE, so there's sand and salt spray all over everything. Usually I can get away with a light washing because it normally rains on us on the way home and rinses everything off pretty good, but not this time. That's the one thing I hate about going to the beach...

Speaking of wind, I towed it all the way down there into a strong head wind, then we got a cold front Sunday night, so I towed it all the way home into a strong head wind.

Installed a new faucet in the bathroom you can actually get your hands under without touching the back of the sink.

Pulled the ADCO cover off and started getting ready for the first trip out in mid-May. Cover worked great, still looks new after one winter and the TT looks exactly as it did when the cover went on last fall.

Also did some fixing to repair a couple of cupboards that fell apart on our last trip, got the water going and propane appliances back on.

Cleaned the awning. I thought I put it away dry last fall, but I can't recall. Our second to last camping trip was in the rain, but the last trip was sunny. It was windy, so it is possible that I did not put the awning out and it remained wet. Regardless, I extended it and discovered it was wet with lots of mildew on the white underside. I did the manufacturer's recommended 1/4 cup bleach, 1/4 cup soap to 5 gallons of water and rolled it up for 15-20 minutes which did not do very much. So I resorted to elbow grease with soapy water and a soft bristle brush for cleaning RVs. After a couple of washes and rinses, I got it clean and fresh smelling again, but there are still some minor and faint black mildew stains here and there remaining that weren't coming off. When we camp in mid-May, I will bring a Mr. Clean Magic Erasure (didn't have any at home) and try to get the stains off. Not fun, but I will be more religious about making sure the awning is dry between camp outs.

Had the dealership replace an outside speaker under warranty and while it was there, had them install an Oxygenics shower head.

That and rain. It rains nearly every time we take the camper out!

I see you're in Seguin. Me too!

Mounted the water pump on 1" heavy foam padding and placed 1/2" foam padding between all points of contact along the Pex running to/from the pump. Cut down on the vibration/noise considerably. Now when the boss lady turns on the pump in the middle of the night I won't risk being shaken out of bed.

Replaced one of the thumb locks that hold the rock guard over the front window closed. As I've been seeking out any potential sources for water leaks around the front window I noticed that one of the locks was loose. When I tried to tighten it I found that the threads were somewhat stripped and wouldn't tighten properly. Ran by the dealer over lunch and got the last one in stock. Still waiting for the dealer to get in the new glazing seal so I can replace that.

I also ran a bead of Dicor No-sag around the running lights on both sides of the unit. I've been reading a few threads regarding Eternabond and the various roof seams and that sounds like a good preventive step to take while things are still in pretty good shape up top. So I've order some supplies and will get that done before we get too far into the season.

Power washed the winter dirt and road grime off the trailer after 6 months in AZ and Utah.

Also worked with dealer on fixing an apparent bent axel.

Took the two LED lights from the basement and added them to the one under-cabinet light to provide more lighting for the counter-top area. Replaced the basement lights with "industrial style" LED light bars I had on hand.

Eternabonded the roof. All is done except the tv antenna. Used a lot more than I thought I would. Glad I was forced to buy a 50 foot roll.

Gave her a bath last night. Tonight I'll give the interior a good once-over and pull her back to storage until our next "big" adventure!

Installed the charge controller and all wiring for the 275w solar panel. Total cost $275 and about three hours time.

Installed the Oxygenics shower head last month. Completed final prep for trip to south eastern Utah next week.

Got the whole family in the trailer last night to give it a light cleaning (sweep/vacuum the floor, wipe down the counters, etc) and then put it back in storage. Forgot to mention I emptied all the water the other night to prep for semi-long-term storage. No risk of freezing, but I don't like to store it with water in it. It'll be a month before we go back for it.
