Replaced the little plastic bin on the front-of-sink fold out drawer with a long narrow bamboo box to hold my knives. Cut slits at one end to accommodate the blades.

Lots of little projects

Installed Aero bathroom fan vent cover, magnetic black tank hose cap to make it easier to extract hose from bumper and scrubbed the toilet gasket and applied some silicone grease to keep gasket watertight. Next up...? Have dealer replace bent axel under warranty.

Curious was the magnetic cap for rear bumper! If so curious where you found it? Thanks

Installed an economical (ok... cheap...) Carchet TPMS system this morning. I reviewed the documentation on the vendor site before purchasing and found it has a solid signal range of 26 feet. After that it states the signal starts to become "unstable" and is gone after 33 feet. I hooked up the TV to the trailer and measured from the middle of the axle to the middle of the drivers door which is about inline with the cigarette lighter plug where the display unit will go and it's about 25 feet so it appears I should be OK.

I have LT LR C A/T tires on my Baja which run at 50psi. I set the high pressure at 65psi and the low to 40psi. I left the high temp at the default of 70c (158f). This kit came with 4 sensors but I only need 2 since mine is a single axle. I used the LF and RF sensors for the trailer. Then I took turns attaching the LR and RR sensors to the spare so that each one would register with the display unit. The display unit remembers the last values from a sensor when they go to sleep so this will prevent a constant alarm for the 2 I'm not using by having a valid value in the display unit. Then I removed the batteries from those 2 and stored them as backups.

This afternoon to verify that I am indeeding getting a signal from the tires to the display unit I hitched up again, then lifted each side and gave the wheel a good spin to wake up the sensor. The display picked up the new values right away for both tires. PSI was up 2lbs in each tire from this morning and the tire temp was up 6c as well. It was quite cool this morning but had warmed up a good deal by the afternoon so I expected to see values change.

Next week it will get a good road test as we are heading out to southern Utah for 8-9 days...

Had my electrician run a dedicated 30 amp RV plug to the side of my shed so I can plug in my trailer without an extension cord. Also, got a new 50' cord from Amazon.

Sounds like a day that ends in "y", amiright?

Picked up my rig from storage the other day, got it wet, cooled it down, hitched it up to the truck and packed last night, ready to get outta here for a few minutes!

I installed Camco screen door springs, a bar on the screen door, mounted the Jim Beam Devil's Cut Barrell lid on the wall, installed a strip of LED lights under awning, bought a small outdoor matt for outside the bathroom door steps, started to wipe down cabinet doors with Liquid Gold and then made my own stove top cover for more counter space out of pine. Still have to glue the pegs in place and the none slip mat and that'll be done. I like the bar and closure springs so much I'm goin to mount them on the exterior door to the bathroom.

I have not camped in it yet. We are going for a week in August and I hope to give it a test. Before that trip, I plan to insulate the outside as described in other threads here. Using the reflectix insulation.

I'll try and document that when it's done. Hopefully this week.

Yesterday, 7/15, I installed the bar on the screen door. Today, I attempt to add the counter extension. Plus I get to add my new permanent state license plate. It came in the mail yesterday.

Tomorrow the wife and I will take our Jay Feather 7 18 RBM up the road to get an Anderson WDH. I'm going to have them do the install and setup. These folks have 50 years of doing it and get rave reviews.

Also ordered up 2 Goodyear Endurance tires, I went up a width from 205 to 215.
I had enough tire issues with our popup and I'm replacing the Jayco may pops before our first outing
