Yesterday had HWH hydraulic leveling system and Roadmaster anit-sway bar installed in preparation for our next trip at the end of the month. Have to finish physical therapy first.

Will do. We have played with it on several different surfaces and so far so good. As you may know, the Melbourne 24 naturally is nose down a bit. The challenge is to park at a site that is relatively flat.

The best part of the HWH hyraulic leveling system is that once it is extended the motor home does not sway when someone is walking around in it with the slide extended.

Defrosting the freezer. (Stays plugged in and on while parked at stick and brick)
Heading out tomorrow for a long stay in North Texas.
Shuffling some gear, less summer, more winter.
Probably wait till tomorrow to hitch the wagon.
Weather forecast is favorable for towing west to east.

Complete scrub from the roof on down. Our season is over this is my end of year cleaning. Resealed some roof spots, removed a bunch of black streaks. Sadly this Sunday she gets winterized and covered...

Enjoying it on our 5 day trip to Maryland’s eastern shore. The weather has been great so far and the camper has given me zero issues, just like every other trip since buying it new in April of 2016.

Winterized, covered, and pulled the battery. It's goin' to be a long winter here, without camping.

I was at the hardware store today and saw rv antifreeze for 2 gallons for $5. I blew the lines with air for the first time a few weeks ago but for $5 and 5 minutes to run it through, I said it is cheap insurance to get through the cold months. Here's to a short and easy winter for those whose season has ended and safe travels to those that are still going. Cheers.

Sadly, like so many others she now has ample RV antifreeze pulsing through her veins. She is wrapped nicely for her long winter hibernation. I'm hoping to get out again in early March. I hate the Northeast...

I'm still hanging in there here in PA. Camping this weekend and have next weekend planned already. I have everything to winterize ready to go in the garage and will get it done when they call for the first freeze.

Washed the windows to get the salt spray off from The Oregon coast and the ash off from my stay in Petaluma, Ca. We had to leave a week ago Tuesday because of the smoke, stayed in Monterey last week and a few trailers had burn marks in their rubber roofs because of the ash falling.

Began my "winterization" process (heading south for the winter in the near future) by cleaning/treating both awnings and all 3 slide toppers, mounted a bike rack to the back of the trailer, gave the suspension a once over, swapped out the original level mate pro for the new version, sanitized fresh water hoses, checked all faucet/drain connections for tightness and water lines in the trailer and repacked bearings and adjusted brakes.

Tomorrow will be cleaning/treating the roof and slideout membranes and giving the trailer a good wash.

Began putting Eternabond Tape on the roof joints. While doing so found that our bathroom skylight is cracked - looks like a stress crack. Needless to say the dealer will be getting a call first thing Monday morning. I'm hoping they will send the new one to me to replace vs having to take the rig to them.

1 - Finished putting a foam seal along the top of the front pass through partition that I added earlier to get ready for fall/winter camping coming up. Our front pass through is now fully insulated with rigid foam, under the bed, night stands, and the "new" partition between the foot of the bed and the pass through. Already tried it out on the windy night and no more drafts from under the bed.

2 - Organized the pass-through. Getting ready to put hooks and broom clips on the new partition wall to hold all the tools and accessories. Also ran the generator for an hour while doing that as it hasn't ran since June. (We don't camp here during the summer much, too hot!)

3 - Put the entire trailer up on jack stands to remove all 4 tires. Going to repack the bearings and inspect the brakes. Most importantly going to take all 5 tires/wheels down to the tire shop and get new tires mounted in a couple days. Easier to take the wheels/tires to town than try to park the whole rig at the tire shops tiny parking lot.

Looking forward to a week long boon docking trip in November!

We just winterized. Its not a big deal to unwinterize but the next trip isnt planned till Feb.. However yesterday we scoped out some free boondocking sites deep in the north Maine Woods that beckon. We have had sixty degree days..
Soon that should end.. It should have ended three weeks ago.
