Double gas bottles

Today, I finally got around to installed the twin-gas-bottle mount (which I got for Christmas...).
Our 19XUD only came with space for one bottle, kind of wedged down between the cross-members on the tongue. We do a fair bit of camping in the Fall, up mountains, so one bottle just isn't enough

So, I fitted one of these, instead

Surprisingly easy, just some careful measuring, a couple of good solid bolts and it's done. I'm not planning to fit an automatic changeover regulator - I prefer to get the "alert" that it's time to fill the empty tank.

Do yourself and favor and buy a lock for them. Someone stole mine last year. At the very least, it will slow a thief down. I got this one.

I got mine on Amazon for a little bit cheaper.

Towed it home a day early from camping. Both my daughters came down with the flu! Just finished cleaning everything out. I think I went thru 2 bottles of Lysol! At least we had 2 nights for a trial run to prepare for Disney next month.

My youngest has the flu right now, got it mid week last week and is finally starting to feel better. This is the first we've been given Tamiflu for any of us and it really seemed to help turn it around for her.

Best of luck with their recovery. I hope it all passes quickly.

Thank you both! Worried about both of them, but mostly for my youngest, as she's Type 1 diabetic. All seems to be going as good as it can so far. Thanks again.

I don't know what we worried about before we had kids.

Finished re-winterizing this morning just incase we have a freeze between now and our March Disney trip to the Fort. I was going to replace the batwing antenna with my new King, but it's supposed to rain today and it's VERY windy! Don't want to be up on the roof with this wind. So, she'll be headed back to storage

BTW, my kiddos are doing fairly well despite having the flu...weird part is that it has NOT affected their appetites in the least!

I checked for mice in the traps. I do this every other day or so.

Water Pump

Put a new water pump in my 7 month old North Point. Was going to take it for warranty, but the nearest authorized dealer is 200 miles away and I just couldn't face Camping World....

Agreed. Have had 2 trouble free years. However I’ll be upgrading to the Jayco 16s with Goodyear endurance tires this month.

1) Installed the Morryde wet bolt kit
2) Adjusted the leafs to the lower level to raise it up.
3) Put in a request for new wheels and tires as I’m switching to the 16 world
4) Ordered a new sewer hose kit -Amazon special
5) Ordered new water filters
6) Confirmed our trip to Port A Gulf Waters RV Resort. Wooohooo
7) oh and greased the wheel bearings

I haven’t been to a good camping world yet. Sad really.

Picked up 4 T105 batteries. Looking forward to getting them in the rig and going camping.

Inventory taken. Things I already had like coffee, batteries, DW's coffee creamer and marinade for the venison where loaded along with fishin poles and my clothes. Propane tanks also filled. Raceweekend gettin closer by the day.
One thing I remembered hangin my clothes was that I needed to raise the bar so my shirts weren't bent over an could hang freely. Hopefully I'll remember to do that before the next trip, it's only been a year so far of forgetfulness!!

Replaced regular 110 outlet with one that has a double USB charging port built in. Don't have to worry about forgetting the phone chargers again! Tomorrow installing led lights in our storage bays and maybe building a sewer hose carrier under the 5er.
