Pull into Martin creek state park. Had an “oh $&@#!” moment when the right front landing leg (that has been giving me problems) broke loose somehow and the side of the trailer came crashing down 6” [emoji15]

No one was hurt and no damage to anything other than a soiled pair of shorts.

Wow...glad everyone was ok and no damage! You’ll have to let us know what the cause was when you can dive deeper into it.

Towed it back to Hattiesburg, MS today from Fort Wilderness. Today’s drive was a beat down. Lots of rain and lots of accidents. The 3 mile bridge on I-10 coming into Mobile was completely shutdown from an accident. Had to reroute, which added 30-40 mins alone.

I did see someone towing a Pinnacle with a nice GMC Denali dually and a golf cart on the rear of the 5er with a 3 wheeled dolly on the back...anyone on the JOF maybe?

Washed it
Waxed it
Power washed the roof
Scrubbed the roof
UV protected the roof

Realized after all this that I always forget to wash the roof first. Shame on me. I always do it first.

So then I

Washed it
Waxed it

Again

No. The locking pin is fine. I believe there’s a welded nut inside the leg that the long threaded rod goes through to raise or lower the leg. I think (pretty sure) that welded nut broke off. I’m pretty sure it was shifted or cockeyed in there which was why it was so hard for the motor to turn it and why I needed to use a 2’ cheater bar on the ratchet to turn it manually

Tom I sorry you are having trouble.

I'm looking forward to the great write up you are going to do when you repair it. Lots of pictures please.

Actually it wasn’t too bad. I used a bottle jack to lift that side a little at a time. Push the button to raise the good side a little, back to the bottle jack and so on. As I lifted the trailer high enough, I extended the leg and engaged the push pin for a little extra safety measure

Well yesterday I went out and lube my gears and my slide and all of the rubber seal and bulbs seal on all of my slide, glad I did it because they were dry.

Thanks Mark

Made it home yesterday safe and sound. Got unhitched by inflating the airbags to max, then release the pins to drop the legs. Deflated the air bags and uncoupled by pulling away.

I cleaned out the inside, blew out the lines and returned it to storage today

I also reattached the wooden trim piece that fell off during transit.

I'll have to tackle the leak behind the water valves when filling the fresh water tank another day...especially when I have parts in hand.
