Opened her up on Friday, but closed her back up yesterday because more snow was in the forecast and didn't want it to pile up on the toppers. A mix of snow and rain is coming down now, and while we only got about 1/2" accumulation (if that), it's heavy. Warmer weather is finally on the way this week though...

Installed the battery and opened it up on Saturday. Started putting stuff back in that we had taken out for the winter. Rearranged a few items. Felt good to have it opened up. Closed it back up due to rain forecasted for the next several days.

Put a cap on the fresh water overflow tube. We don’t need plan to do a lot of boon docking, but when we do, I don’t want to end until out there with something less than a full tank of fresh water. (I took a couple of pictures, but can’t see how to include them from my photos folder in this post. This should really be easier if the goal is to share good information. Administrator? )

Made it home, unloaded and put away. Actually made it thru Atlanta at 3pm with no traffic jam. Not sure what's going on with that.

Installed LED brake/stop/turn lites. Easy swap from Command Electronics and boy are they bright (both day and nite), compared to the incandescent ones. Got them from Amazon $45.99.

Happy RVing,
Jeff

Traffic was light yesterday but that only means there will be hell to pay today

Loading up and hooking up today for a 70 mile tow to Jennings Ferry Campground for the week and weekend. Anyone else going to be there? It is a small campground south of Eutaw, AL, but on the Black Warrior and a nice spot.

I bought a cover. When I got the trailer out storage I noticed the seam sealant was looking weathered, certainly not failed but definitely weathered. I keep the trailer in the driveway in relative sun all summer long and figured a $300 cover would be a good investment. Went with a Classic Accessories Overdrive PermaPRO Deluxe cover from Amazon.

Just cleaned her up and put her into storage a few days ago. DW convinced me last night to go out again immediately - taking her out of storage tomorrow for a three day run...

It’s a good trip man. About 1000 miles for us but it’s been a damn good one. We love coming to south TX.

Our problem for that is time. We can't ever seem to take off even a week. My wife doesn't get the same amount of vacation time I do. She isn't too willing to burn up 5 days in one shot. I'll just live vicariously through your pics haha
