Woke up in her. She's in the driveway however. My DW was getting up early and was gong to be making a racket. Figured I'd get more sleep this way. It worked.

The camper has been a great guest house for many.

I NEED TO GO CAMPING!

Lubricted the elevating gear on the antenna and rubber quad ring. If you don't keep that Quad ring soft it will dry out and we will develop a leak.

Lubricted all moving parts on the stairs

And that's what "I DID to my Jayco today"

I replaced all the cheap lug nuts with solid chrome ones. The originals have a “cap” or a “cover” over the nuts that are easily stripped or dented versus a solid lug nut

Thanks for the link. Got them on the way. Something I have been meaning to do but kept slipping my mind.

No problem. Double check your lug nut size. Not sure if you have dexter or Lippert axles but I seem to remember reading that some axles have 9/16 lugs.
My rig is a ‘16 model with Lippert axles

Installed insect screens on all the exterior appliance vents. We've not had any issues - yet - but relatively inexpensive to avoid uninvited guests.

Places that don't allow charcoal???? Never heard of such a thing. How is someone supposed to make biscuits for biscuits and gravy in the dutch oven? That's just un American if I do say so

We have a small Weber table top charcoal grill that my wife bought me probably 20 years ago or more. Hundreds of meals made on that thing over the years. We don't go anywhere without it.

This isn't the first time I've heard about not allowing charcoal. My buddy frome here in PA took his family on a long loop last summer through Canada and down the west coast of the US and back. I know that he ran in to something similar in one of the states out west somewhere. I'm assuming fire risk is the issue.

I guess if there's a legit burn ban I could see it.

Oregon will cut the use of charcoal during the fire season. Also no wood fires. You can use all the propane flame you like. The rule says it has to be instant off. You cannot use a cover to snuff it out. You have to be able to turn it off like a gas lantern, gas stove, or other gas or electric appliance. Our camp got a No No from the forest service last summer. She told us the rule, but issued no ticket.

We haven't camped anywhere yet that does not allow charcoal but were going to Key West for 10 days. It's a nice campground but gas only grills.
