Sanitizing my water lines for the spring-summer season. Clean the rubber seal in the toilet bowl ( with gloves on ). Check all water fittings and ALL THE BOLTS that hold the trailer to the frame, the 4 bolts on the A/C were done in the fall and I always carry that nut driver with me just in case.

Wish there was a way they could have made mine that accessible. Not enough room though

Wish I could do something to it. More snow coming this weekend. By this time last year we had our first trip under our belts

That looks very nice. What wax did you use?

Thank you. I used one of the products Jayco recommended in manual amd I don't like greasy way it makes them feel. Plus after it dries they don't look that good

CO/LP detector won't stop beeping

Hi, joined the forum today because I have a problem. I picked up my Jayco Jayflight 174BH from the dealer today. I took it in after receiving a recall due to electrical circuit from the battery to the converter not having overcurrent protection. I drove home, about 15 miles, hooked up but when I got home the detector was beeping. I'm plugged in at home now, its still beeping after several reset attempts. Service at the dealer won't be open again until Monday, I'm hoping to not have it beeping all weekend though. I'm also hoping I don't have to haul it down there again.

After insoection by dealer my 2017 Jayflight wasn't included in that recall. For now just unhook the battery an you'll have to carry it back down there. Strange how you got the notice that fast if you just brought it home.

Looked at it longingly through the window with a dusting of snow on it and said maybe next weekend.

Welcome to JOF.
If it were ours we would get one in 2 days from from Amazon and replace it instead. Maybe $40, 15 minutes, two wires, and a screwdriver.
Let us know if you need more information.

Agreed. My general rule of thumb is if your handy and it costs more in fuel to haul it to/from the dealer than the part costs I'm doing it myself. Also waiting a week or 2 for the dealer to do a 20 minute job is insane.

Installed the Morryde Heavy duty shackle and wet bolt kit on my Eagle TT.
While I had the unit up in the air, I pulled the hubs to repack the bearings, and ended up replacing all brake components due to grease getting all over the brakes courtesy of the wonderful EZ lube system. It had been pumped full evidently and leaked past the seals. so...............
Bad news -- extra work and expense
good news -- All new brakes and components, and upgraded suspension, the worn through plastic bushings are gone, and now have brass bushings, grease-able bolts, and much thicker shackle plates.

I removed the useless steering stabilizer that came from the factory, and installed a new Safe t plus stabilizer on my Greyhawk. Went on fairly simple. Greased all the fittings while I was under there.

Inclined Bed Platform in 23RB

Installed an inclined bed platform. I prefer the head of the the bed to be about 4 inches higher than the foot. Helps minimize acid reflux. Built an inclined platform out of 1x4 pine and 3/8 plywood. It also added some much needed rigidity to the bed.

Nothing exotic, but I added the Camco screen door handle today on our new SLX212. The door is pretty thin where it screws in, so I had to take my time. Earlier, I put in a Camco fold-down shelf. Just trying to spend as much time in the rig as possible while we wait out the rains!
