De-winterized and sanitized the fresh water system. Then fired up the hot water tank to verify its operation.

It has been a slow steady rain today so we opened up all the slides to check for water leaks. It's the first time they have been open while it was raining. Discovered a minor leak on the inside of the horizontal sliding window on the dinette/theatre seating slide. Had the same leak in the same place on our previous 27 DSRL. The windows are frameless. Don't want to pull it to the dealer so I need to find a way to seal it before our big trip.

Replaced the antenna that I managed to knock off on a low branch last weekend, then gave her a much needed bath. Hope to start waxing today.

This weekend bit busy. De-winterized, installed bed lift kit, works great. While installing the bed lift I found that the bed platform was 2 1/2" shorter than the mattress so I extended the platform. Installed a plug in kit to replace the mouse hole for the shore power cable then moved on and installed a larger grab handle by the doorway. After that finally hung my new bathroom medicine cabinet, picture below. Finished the day starting a new project to move the electrical sockets currently under the bed over hang on each side to below the side bed storage closets. The relocated plugins will have dual USB plugins plus one normal plugin.

I see that sight often. Farther away. Sometimes Mt. Shasta has a ring of clouds around it. Get ready for bad weather when that happens. So the story goes!

Just starting to put things in their travel position for the trip to Talladega tomorrow for a week of volunteering.

Anyone going to be there? I will be in the Geico-East Campground. I don't know the site yet.

Emptied it. Completely.

We made a deal on a Greyhawk 29MV. Going to pick it up tomorrow. So we had to empty the trailer and begin saying our goodbyes. LOTS of memories in that trailer in the 5 or so years we've owned it. Tears will be shed. But smiles will reappear as we move into our new unit and keep on creating those memories!

I also removed and retained some of my "mods" to move into the new unit. It's like moving apartments! And it's hard to imagine how much "stuff" you accumulate! And that's not even all of it! We had a couple things in use at the house that normally live in the trailer! AND I threw stuff away!!

ETA: It's all the stuff on and around the table. The stuff in the background of the 2nd pic is "stuff" in my garage I haven't had a chance to deal with yet... LOL!!

Thank you for the pics. I no longer think we have too much stuff in our camper

Pulled her to Fishermen’s Memorial SP. This is our second time out with her, but first trip of any distance, and I couldn’t be happier with the way she towed. DW even commented on how smooth a ride it was.

I separated the tongue jack and the tow vehicle charge lines. The factory tied both to a 30 amp fuse. If you happen to blow the fuse by using the tongue jack that results in the tow vehicle will not charge the battery. Why it is wired that way is beyond me. I removed the tongue jack wire from that configuration and and ran it direct to the battery. The jack has a built in 20 automatic breaker so it has its own protection. If you should happen to have this happen to you and you don't have a replacement fuse just plug the trailer into the tow vehicle and you can operate the jack through the charge line.

Hitched it up and towed it ~50 miles to verify the bearing repack and brake adjustments I did last Sunday. Also noticed that the battery seemed to be a little low after unhooking it from shore power. Found a couple of the battery terminals accumulated some corrosion over this last winter. After cleaning that up things were back where they should be. First trip of the season is just about here...
