I drive an ADA golf cart and we don't get to watch much of the race. Of course when I'm in the infield and am in between trips I have a favorite spot of two to watch for a few laps. The weather Saturday was superior and supposed to be the same today, just a hair cooler, but still fantastic.

Washed everything but the roof, and then got 75% of it waxed. Still have about half of the slide side to wax, this old fart got tired. Also need to figure out a way to wax the top center of the front cap, my arms are not long enough to reach it. Not even sure getting on the roof would work as there is a ceiling vent smack dab in the way.

Got my appointment scheduled for my LED light recall and my state inspection. First call to my dealer for a service appointment. Very impressed with how nice the conversation went. Hopefully the service itself we be just a smooth.

Towed from Talladega to my home base 101 miles west. Total generator usage during the 6 days at Talladega 21.5 hours. Everything worked perfectly.

Now the wash/wax will be done this coming weekend.

With the mechanical checks out of the way I've moved inside and starting prepping for the upcoming trip to southern Utah in a couple of weeks. First up was to swap out the plain brown bedspread with this custom quilt that our oldest daughter made. She did a fabulous job. Being a crazy cat person it's also very appropriate...

Face Lift time

Painted walls, cut trim to replace old valances that were falling apart. Started swapping out old light bulbs with new LED ones. Man, are those bulbs in there tight! Spray painted the vent hood over the stove...it was a rusty mess. Fluffing up an old (1982) J series trailer. Gonna be cute when I'm done...if one ever really gets done with such a thing!

Let there be light!

Added led lights to the two lower shelves of the pantry.

Yeah, A LOT of that crap didn't make the cut into the new rig!!

I've just been tinkering with her the past couple days. DW is lining the shelves, I'm trying to adjust some mechanical things, we're both trying to get our stuff moved in.

I put a new toilet in, I reconfigured the shore power, I tried to adjust the Helwig Helpers, but couldn't get the nuts to move, so I sprayed them down with penetrating oil.

We've just been so busy at work lately, it's been hard to find the time and energy to get it all done. And we're leaving on our maiden voyage this weekend, so we're running out of time!

WOW, you better get on it tick tock tick tock.
But at least your DW is helping. I love mine to death but when it came to getting the essentials loaded and cabinets and drawer lined it was just me and the Naty's. Come to think of it it's always me loading up before every trip, hmmmm. She does help unload when we get home though so that's alright. Every day is a Mother's Day is what I tell her.
Happy packin/fixin/replacing and I hope you get it done in time

Flushed out the antifreeze. Disinfected the fresh water system. Washed and waxed 1/2 of her. Fired up the fridge on propane (34 degrees F. in twelve hours!) Showed her off to the neighbors who were duly impressed. Off next weekend to Elephant Butte Reservoir which is the largest (almost ONLY) body of water in New Mexico.

Thanks!

Ya, we'll make it. We already have what we really NEED in there (except clothes) and we have most of Friday to tidy up and get ready (vacation commences at noon). And we're not leaving until Saturday (Time TBD), so we'll have time for "final pre-flight checks" and whatnot. So I think we'll make it out just fine.
