Continued on the lighting theme and finished up the LED tape lighting in the upper and lower pantry. First time that I've worked with this stuff and I think that it's pretty cool. Next project will be the hallway closet lights and then more in the wardrobe cabinets in the bedroom. I might even go crazy and do the pass-through storage/under bed compartment too.

When I run out of this tape I'll instead go with the non-waterproof type for the remaining indoor needs. While this worked out great it's a little tough cutting through the gel waterproof coating to get to the connection on the tape itself without damaging the material.

Sourced most of this stuff from Amazon & Fry's electronics.

Did nothing today.

Have spent over a week gradually unloading the trailer and repacking the house after 6mo (~10,000 mi) of full timing (left on Dec 22). When weather cools, will be sprucing up the trailer while it waits for our next trip.

Did some AC maintenance. Vacuumed off all the coils on both units and taped up some gaps in the intake of the bedroom unit. Also cleaned the filters.

I just sent a request to the campground manager where I am hosting for a quick (as in today) repair to my electrical pedestal. My EMS has shut me down due to a Open Ground. It is going to be a very hot/humid day today. I hope they can get here quickly.

Foil taped all the HVAC duct outlets. Huge improvement on AC efficiency!

Replaced one of the stabilizer jacks, as I broke one on our last trip. Very easy fix.

With my son’s help, pulled the cover on for the first time. Our next TT trip isn’t until late August, and figure it can’t hurt to keep the beating sun off it until then. I’m pleasantly surprised with the Elements cover I got from CW.

Brake controller

Add a Tekonsha p3 trailer brake controller with plug in wire harness to our 2018 redhawk 29xk, took a whole 10 minutes or so to install, next comes spare tire winch and fabricate mount for it at rear frame :-)

I couldn't believe it, but the electrician arrived before 9:00am and replaced the 50a breaker, 50a socket and jumpers in the pedestal. So if the problem still isn't fixed, it isn't in my pedestal. So far the repair is good 21 hours later.

While I was waiting for the electrician I accessed my auto transfer switch and check the lugs for tightness and signs of overheating. I have had 2 transfer switches overheat in the past. All was pristine this time after 4 years service.

Right now I am running a few loads of laundry to empty my fresh water tank. I always keep it full at a campground in case of a campground water problem. I will refill it after it is close to empty. I would have been stuck too many times due to water issues at campgrounds. While everyone else suffers with no water I'm good. I empty/refill the tank monthly in the summer time and a little longer during the winter.

I got up on the TT roof and put eternabond tape around one more skylight. I also put dicor around one more of the vents. I still need to tape around the bathroom vent and where the front cap meets the rubber roof. The factory dicor is cracking in a lot of places. We have a 2016 model year Travel Trailer. I would suggest keeping a eye on even a new RV roof. It got too hot to stay on the roof too long today.

Gave the RV a thorough outside washing, cleaning off the grime, dirt, and dust from the last month or so in Alaska.

Actually this was yesterday:
Ran generator for 1.0 hr under load
Switched Norcold to propane for a few hours
Switched water heater to propane for a load of laundry

Now good for another month. I want all of these items to work when needed.

Washed it from the roof down to the wheels. Found some inepensive motion activated puck lights. Put one in the cabinet over the sink so when either door is open it shines some light on the shelf I made to store glasses etc to help keep things organized better. Installed the other in a smaller storage cabinet where I used command strips to hang small 4 and maybe 6" long clear plastic bins to organize that since I had no pine left to make a shelf. Turned the fridge on to prep for the trip on Thursday.

Getting ready to pick up TT tomorrow for a 4 night stay 30 miles down the road from where I live. I know - lame, but this is a really nice park. Plus if it all goes south, I just pack up and go home. Gonna be hot.

And yes - putting more beer in fridge counts.
