Bent a rear jack when trying to make a turn onto a road with a steep approach angle.

Replaced it myself with a heavier unit from Amazon after getting an install cost of $99 from a dealer in a town we were passing thru. Not too bad a job, screw holes on new jack line up with the ones in the frame.

Jackknife no more!! Sofa that is!

I finally after 3 seasons with the most uncomfortable sofa switched out for wall hugger recliners. Had to move a electrical box but no big deal. Found a quality built, comfortable double for my 60 inch opening. Hope pic shows up! having issues uploading

Unpacked the front storage compartment, identified the stuff we no longer use or need then added in some new storage bins to get a handle on all the items now being stored in the compartment. Looks much better and items store better and easier to get at.

Made my own set of wheel chock's as my trailer spread axle is much wider than most and I wasn't able to find a set to fit. Does make a difference in stability of the trailer so now maybe no rocking and working its way off the scissor jack blocks. Finally made a set of TT wheel curtains using three layers of sun screen material, keeps the sun from betting down on my TT wheels and still allows for plenty of air movement around the tires.

Bought a new drinking hose today. Wanted to try one of those collapsible ones that are safe for drinking water. Nothing wrong with the old one, other than it’s 2 yrs old and takes up more space than the new one.

Took it in to the dealer for warranty work on nitnoy items. Had the shelf under the kitchen sink repaired, tank valves checked for leaks, leak from the kitchen sink hot water line repaired, slides lubed, moved the step light from the awning light switch to its own dedicated switch in the panel and door handle lubed. They took care of all items in less than 3 hours. Love our local Jayco dealer.

We think that a family of skunks must have had a domestic after a hard night of drinking somewhere near our trailer. It was bad even after closing the windows.

Took my TT to Discount Tire this morning and had four new Maxxis tires put on. They had 3 guys working on it and I was in and out of there in 45 minutes.

You haven’t really lived until you run over one walking across a road. Did that in my FR-S which doesn’t clear a skunk. Smelled for weeks

Actually you Really Really haven’t lived until you have one or two get into a fight in the basement of your old farmhouse. When I was kid we had that happen and you seriously consider wether or not it might be better to just burn the house down.

Built and installed electric outside roll up blinds that hang from the top of my slide to keep the afternoon sun-heat out. The slides have dark windows that act as heat traps in the afternoon, reaching 120+ degrees - kind of like having 2 big heat radiators inside while the A/C is trying to cool.

Looked for something like this online, but could only find awnings that install permanently.

Experimented with Lowes ‘Reflectrix’ bubble mylar, taped on the outside and the result was dramatic, inspiring the shade project. Tried Reflectrix inside the windows, but minimal effect - heat was already inside the RV (2017 Greyhawk 29’)

The roller motor fits inside the roller (1 1/2” PVC pipe) and has it’s own lithium battery and a remote control - no wires. Used white marine vinyl from JoAnnes for shade material.

Vinyl gutters upside down as valances to make them look nice and to weather shield the tube motors. I can control the shades from inside with the remote.

When I break camp, I unhook the rolled up shades with a pole and throw them on my car trailer for the trip south.
