Making a bunk bed rail for my 4 year old grandson, so mom and dad will let him sleep on the top bunk. Using some 4 inch select pine, staining it, and putting tong oil on it.

Just finished washing and waxing our new to us pup (and found a roof crack, d'oh). Will be installing some levels on the front and rear, and installing J hooks for the propane tank, and testing all the systems before an extra long weekend trip coming up.

Cheers!

We bought some shelves for the wardrobe and installed a Command Electronics LED board into the overhead sink light.

We came home from a weekend camping trip. We also looked at a 33 ft camper that is set up on a permanant site as a different way to go.

I became inventive and tried a fix for the pop up crank ratchet. I recently posted a question on 3 different pages on this site regarding this topic and have received ZERO responses to all 3, so I decided I had to find my own cure. Time will tell if it works.

After reading about connecting the canvas to the door frame, I found out I was connecting it wrong on our 1006 pup. I followed the cure and now all is good.
I found out that 2 nights (maybe 3) of running the propane heater drains a 20# tank.
I also found out that 2 electric space heaters running on high, along with a mini fridge, is more than the camper can handle. The breaker tripped. Luckily, I was still awake and able to reset it and turn one heater lower. Temps in the upper 40s outside resulted in 65 degrees inside for the night.

What Did You Do To Your Jayco TODAY?

Setup a spare tire holder on the back bumper of my 1006 PUP.

Went to the camper and found out that the last time we were there (last week) a light was left on and drained the battery.

Battery is home on charge....hopefully it's not damaged.

I also turned on the fan and opened some windows to air her out. Started fridge cooling, and began packing items for the upcoming trip.
