Got rear ended while driving home from Maine vacation. Bumper to bumper traffic and a Mack truck (cab) bumps into box truck that bumps in to us!
Re-enforced bumper twisted up. Bike rack attached to bumper leaves nice 3 in slice into and through fiberglass just above the molding along the bottom edge. No injuries. Poor kid in box truck, got shaken up. The two arms we set the bikes on punctured and spidered the windshield of his flat face front truck. Mack truck driver of local company claims he hit the brakes but couldn't stop.
No way with that traffic could he have much running room.
Was hoping to get to this musical festival in Vermont next month. With a 3 week wait just to have Jayco take a look at damages,...…….trip seems unlikely.

Washed the rear and front Lexan Windows I made for my Hybrid TT. The white you see at the top is Velcro, the bottom sits in a slot at the screen sides so Velcro is only needed at the top. It's great when it's raining out, no need to close it up & same for when it's too cool out as it keeps it toasty inside with plenty of light. They stay in place 24/7 and I leave them in when I fold it up.

Not to the trailer but for the trailer. Dug the trench, ran pipe, backdoors and wired up a 30 amp rv outlet. Now I have a full 30 amp service at the trailer. I had the supplies on hand for quite some time but just decided to get it done finally. And I picked the hottest, most humid days possible. Lol. Only punctured one water pipe. Nothing like a surprise slower while working hard on a hot day!

When I did my vents, or any peel off tape, I always have to get out my exacto knife to peel.

Insulated the cold side of the outside of both AC units, installed Maxxair vent cover, began insulating/soundproofing cab of chassis. I found that there's just a thin jute (or whatever) mat below the vinyl floor. There were also two VERY small pieces of some kind of heat shield under there? I don't know why they even bothered with that, they do NO good. I will be continuing my work on insulating the cab as soon as more material gets here.

Installed 2 clear plastic bins for spices on the inside of the cabinet doors via Command Strips.
Purchased gutter extensions but haven't had the courage to install them yet. The area around all the existing gutters is sealed so well I don't want to mess it up

I left my x213 at the campgrounds last weekend (luckily they had a storage yard attached) Got up to leave Monday morning and was hit by something called BPPV Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo! imagine being in a camper that moves a bit, on a sloped hill and waking up with Vertigo. I thought I was dying and made my wife call for an Ambulance that took me to Flagstaff. They diagnosed me fairly quickly with this problem which I had never heard of and had a PT do The Epley maneuver which really helped, however I have just now one week later felt ok to drive. Wife had to drive us back home to Vegas. Posting this to help if anyone else suddenly wakes up with the room spinning, mine got so bad I vomited.

Now I have to travel 4 hours back to pick up my TT, may just decide to camp there again when I pick it up.

Added self closing hinges to the water heater/winterization/drain valve/water pump screw on panel. Now I am going to cut off the 2 inch screws and glue them into the holes as a cover up. The self closing hinges are great since I won't need anything to latch the hatch I turned into a door.
