Emptied out the cupboards of food, packed up the pillows and blankets and stripped the sheets off the bed for the laundry. The fridge and freezer are emptied and airing out.
The Drizair is in it's pots and the heater is plugged in to hold at 5C/40F to keep any moisture out.
Tomorrow draining fresh water and hot water tanks and blowing out the P traps with compressed air.
Took measurements of the cupboards to start adding more shelving for better use of the space. Not a bad day all in all.

I never have liked the location of my water filter. It was behind a panel and hard to get too. Where I park it in the winter months for hunting is a farm with well water. The sand has been a problem so I added the extra filter.
Back in the spring wife was not feeling good so had to leave Topsail early. I wound up leaving my water regulator on the water spigot. So I put it in with the water line.

Picked it up after being washed and waxed (too dang hot to do it myself) and put it back into storage. Looks brand new!

I still haven't washed mine since we came back from Florida in August, well if you don't count the rain that is.

If there was someone locally that would come out to the house and wash and wax mine, I would gladly pay them. I hate that job.

True. We haven't flooded since last Tuesday though.

But sometimes the rain comes sideways.

Well yesterday, I washed off all the knats and bug splatters on the front cap and waxed it with Meguiars carnauba wax...the best stuff and easy to work with. Six up n down cycles on a six foot ladder standing on the top step. It’s a North Point 377...tall boy! I have in my reminders to someday replace with an 8’ ladder!

Stretched her legs a little yesterday. We were thinking we would be in it again by now, but it just hasn't worked out. So I added stabilizer, topped off the fuel tank, cranked up the generator and turned the AC units on. My son and I drove to the next town, had lunch and drove back. That way the chassis got all warmed up and moving, the treated fuel got into everything, the generator got its monthly workout, and DW got some relax time at home without us.

On the last camping trip with our 27DSRL I noticed that the shelf just inside the back door had collapsed. It seems that it was only supported by staples along the right side going through the cleat and into the shelf. I removed the staples and replaced them with screws after drilling first. I also added support for the shelf under the sink. I did this by removing the panel under the shelf and attaching a vertical strip of wood between the back edge of the shelf and the floor.

After draining the water lines and water heater, putting in anti-freeze, getting everything out of the trailer that might freezing during the winter, washing it, treating the roof, giving it a day to dry I took the last step in my winterizing process, putting the cover on . Bummer but we did get to enjoyed 29 nights of camping this season.

Washed the trailer, including scrubbing the roof, after a weeklong trip. Cleaned bathroom, mopped the floors, drained and dried water hoses and scoured the portable Weber BBQ. I’m bushed — need another vacation!

Brand new trailer, so getting it prepped to go for the first trip. Today I installed a 32" TV in the living area and a 24" TV in the bedroom area. Jayco's Kebloc TV mount holes did not match the mounting holes for the TV so I rigged up a bracket from some scrap metal I had and now fits just fine.

Put one of these in the camper last Sunday afternoon and when I checked it Wed. the bowl had almost a cup of water in it. Not bad for not requiring power and only costing $9.99Click image for larger version
