Checked on it in storage today. Put all bedding and towels in it. Bought some RV antifreeze from Walmart today...just in case.

Put a 6" piece of 3/4" square aluminum tubing between slide topper mount and body of coach. Keeps the slide topper mount from flexing and eventually stripping out screw holes.

I changed the oil, air filter and fuel filter on my generator today. Here in southwest Louisiana, we are just coming into great camping weather. We mostly boondock and ride our RZR. Come on cool weather!

Fixxed bad 20 amp fuse from battery. Winterized trailer found a better mattress to replace the factory one.

Power washer. Used the bucket of soap and brush to get the edge of the roof line. For stubborn stains, I used Marine 31 mildew cleaner.

Thanks Jack

Maybe you need to use a clay bar to get the surface smooth and clean? Then apply wax.

Winterized

I winterized and parked the trailer after we unloaded it. We are lucky enough to be able to park the trailer at the house.

I used the compressed air line blow out again this year. It is so much easier to get it ready in the spring. Just sanitize, rinse and fill it is ready to go. I have a difficult time rinsing all of the RV antifreeze out of the lines. The pics are what I made to blow out the water lines. I got this idea from:

This past weekend we winterized the trailer, parked it on some wooden planks, pulled the battery and closed it up till next spring. Can't wait till next season to get it on the road. The best improvement we made this year to the trailer was getting the axle flipped - so nice not to have to worry about damaging the black/grey discharge pipe.

Got home from another 5000 mile road trip.. There was one small problem . The wire for the trailer brakes hangs too low and it got caught in the spring and broke.. Its not fun to find out you have no brakes but our brake controller warned us..

Did my last winterizing steops.

Took out water heater element from the freeze plug hole and vacuumed out a quart or so of water to get it down as low as possible.

Distributed Fresh Cab and mouse sticky traps around the trailer.

Locked it up and done for the winter.
