I use an app It's free. Its Called sattilitte finder. The guy from where the dish is made told me about it. Worked great for me so far unless I'm in amongst a bunch of trees then I can see the satellites but not pick up all the HD channels

Hauled it to the dealer for a warranty fix of the awning. The plastic cord that holds the awning in a track in the roller has gradually shifted out about 8 inches on one end. When I made the appointment three weeks ago, they said they’d do it while I waited. Today they said they’d probably have it done by Saturday. Uh, nope. After checking he thought they could do it today after all. I had to pester them a bit, but got it back at the end of the day. And this is why I do everything possible to avoid taking it in to the dealer.

Looked at the TT in the driveway and thought, "I have to work the rest of the week."

Went out this afternoon to open up the awning, and let it dry out from the last two frog-floater storms we've had. As I'm getting it ready to roll out, the sky got kinda DARK. Then a clap of thunder got my attention. CRAP...another frog-floater!!!

(maybe tomorrow.)

Sorry about your slide problem Tom. When you go to dealer they probably have a 2020 with your name on it.

Lol! I do like a lot of the new features but they’re still using an in wall slide out system on the kitchen slide. Slim rack instead of schwintek but still.

Installed the Slim Shade window on the entrance door so now both door windows have been replaced. Then started the process of sanitizing the fresh water tank for the upcoming trip.
Pro (cough, cough, hack, hack) tip. Don't just presume that after you winterized the lines last that you didn't change the valve back over so it pumps from the tank and turn it thinking you opened up the line. It took me a few sips of beer to figure out that I had actually turned the pump valve off. Everything good now. After that brain teaser I aired up the tires on the Honda 3000's then called it quites.

Installed a 2nd battery and a hardwired progressive industries surge protector, real like the remote display. Now just down the road from me is a 2017 Grand Design Reflections 297RSTS that I really like and the price is not bad.

Hey, a day without thunderstorms!

Moved it in front of the garage, and gave it a washing. Then unrolled the awning to dry it off. Tomorrow, a straightedge across the wheels to quick-check for alignment.

Ordered a black propane tank cover since the lid for the current white nasty lookin cover flew off while going down the road on our last trip. It arrived yesterday so install today. Get done with that then it's flush the fresh water tank an lines.
Still haven't quit got myself talked into stopping by HD to look at the peel an stick backsplash options.

I had the same problem with the tank cover. When I got the new one I drilled a couple holes in the cover and body next to the hinges and installed cable ties. Now when I forget to tighten down the cover the cable ties are there to prevent its disappearance.

Got everything squared up, aligned and put back together. Retract slide, everything seems great. Extend slide, it gets completely out of square and out of alignment. Can hear it jumping the track again but this time it seems it’s on the TV side. [emoji35]

So, 5 hours of work, and $600 later, I still can’t use the slide and I’m going to have to take it to the dealer to fix. Not a happy camper at all.
Ok, rant over..time for an adult beverage or two
Any idea what caused this?

Using the slide when the unit was unlevel?
Do you use a slide lock when traveling?

Not sure what happened. Something shifted or moved last time we went camping. I only use the slide when level. I’ve been extra diligent about the care and use of the kitchen slide because I know others had problems with it. Many of their issues were due to bent outrigger supports. Mine aren’t bent. Do not use, nor have I ever used, a slide lock.

De-oxidized the front cap, sun side and rear of the camper using this product. The results were amazing and took about 30 hours to complete by hand.

Rear air conditioner

I 2019 Jayco vision enteral 31 v. Rear air conditioner stopped working. At La Mesa Rv for warranty. They say will be two weeks because Jayco has to approve. Has always been bad service but do not have a choice.
