Ours got a bath today as well, and some stuff put back in for the season. Yesterday it got new GY Endurance sneakers. The originals were actually a year older than the TT.

Gave it a bath and brought it back to storage. Heading into the dealer for the propane pressure test, adding a quick connect line for the propane and getting a ladder installed on the back.

Over the past week I replaced the bathroom outer skylight dome, sealed it up with dico self leveling sealant.
Power washed it.
Topped off the fluid in the 6 volt batteries.
Loaded it for camping.
Took it to the mountains for 4 days to a great Boondocking camp site we found about 200 yards off the dirt road and about 200 feet from a river.
Got it dirty and will have to wash it again tomorrow.

I "drained" my fresh water tank yesterday by taking a long shower and running 2 loads of laundry with extra rinse. It still shows 1/3 full so I will continue using it today and refill later this afternoon. I usually change the water every couple of months to keep it fresh. Works well for me for the past 10 years full time.

Today I replaced...

Today I replaced the crap EZ fan in the master bathroom with a Maxxair Deluxe 7500. There are a couple of things that made it go super smooth. First would be that the camper is still very new so the Dicor hadn't had a chance to get real crusty. Two would be that I happened to have some auto trim tools that seem like they were made for this job, if you are contemplating this swap on your unit I highly recommend you look into these. Local auto parts or Amazon should have them, I had bought a complete set a few years ago. Third, if you can, don't waste time trying to get all the Dicor off of the old fan flange, I started that way, as you can see in the picture, but then I just exposed the screw heads and used one of the plastic tools to"cut" the Dicor around the edge and then carefully pry the flange up. Using butyl tape under the new flange, I placed it in the opening and screwed it down. I then used Dicor 501LSW to cover the screw heads and put a good bead around and over the edge of the new flange. After this has a chance to cure some I plan on covering all edges with Eternabond. Inside was very straight forward except for having to cut the original trim ring to get it to fit, the new one provided in the kit was too short for my application. I connected the wiring placed the trim ring and I love how it looks and how it performs. My dealer sent someone to get the camper this afternoon to take it to have the slide toppers installed and replaced the damaged outdoor refrigerator. They are bringing it back tomorrow and I'll post pics of the completed install and roof pics then. Happy Camping!

Eternabond applied to top side edge.

I applied Eternabond to the top side edges of the roof. Then followed up with self levelling Dicor on the edges. The Decor didn't go on as nicely as I had hoped but it will do the trick.

Two projects finished up today.

Both are efforts to take back storage space the Jayco installation team stole from me...

Project 1: Cleanup plumbing and wiring behind the water entry panel. This is actually only Phase I of this plumbing plan.

Some expert drilled this hole to where the panel is a partial cover.

He also cut this tiny opening to winterize.

I hope to re-use the excess panel for a winterize access panel soon.

MadMax that's looking good. I plan on cleaning up the wiring and plumbing behind some of my panels soon.

Phase II to come....
The quality and effort of the original install here is precisely why the government had to come up with an unemployment plan. I'd lose my $h!t as QC or Supervisor of that crew.

Great work on the cleanup!

Been busy installing/setting up all of the goodies that have been coming in lately. This thing is really coming along now. With everything we've done to it, I'm really struggling with whether to upgrade to a new RV or keep this one.

Installed the Yakima Long Haul bike rack. It holds 4 bikes but it is really tight. All 4 of ours are cruisers/hybrids with non-traditional frames so we had to get the Swagman mount bars. They work well but with racks/baskets/fenders on each bike, things rubbed and that won't work for DW. The rack itself is awesome. Jury is out on it still for carrying all 4 bikes though.

New shoes. I put just over 10k miles on my factory set of tires. OTW back from the beach the other day I noticed a slit in the tread of the tire where it was starting to separate. So off to Discount Tire for a set of the Goodyear Endurance 225/75r15. They are sharp and well worth the investment.

New bikes for DW and I. We decided we wanted to start leaving the golf cart at home and get more exercise when camping. We have thoroughly enjoyed riding again. The Electra Townie 9d (gray) is as smooth a bike as I have ever ridden. Highly recommend it for quality hybrid. My wife choose the SixThreeZero EVRYJourney and has been very happy with it also.

Happy Camping.

Reloaded for another camping/fishing trip this weekend at West Point Lake. Also framed a story from a newspaper article last weekend an hung it in camper.
The opening of Coosa Lock and Dam Park last weekend was big news in Rome, Ga. A reporter came out Friday morning an asked some questions an took some pictures around the campground. Just so happened our conversation an a picture of me made the newspaper as part of his story. Good times.

Finally got around to replacing my CH 751 storage door locks with new locks from Industrial Lock & Hardware in Palmdale, CA. Easy swap out and they work great.
